When making this, I wanted to make Pulse into a very tough and serious superheroine. I wanted the emphasis to be on her being a bionic woman. I admit I didn't follow the light and dark theme because everything about Pulse to me seems very uplifting and progressive so I wanted to show that here. I really hope I did her justice if anything else.
